Working with the American Heart Assoication and Interact for Health, BLDG was tasked with creating a brand and campaign that would encourage lawmakers in Cincinnati (and ultimately all of Ohio) to raise the legal age to buy tobacco products to 21 years old.
We leveraged bright colors and customizable characters to encourage kids and adults to stop the cycle of tobacco addiction and the health issues it creates. The campaign has seen tremendous success, as the city of Cincinnati and later all of Ohio raised the age of purchasing tobacco products and vapes to 21. The campaign itself was a finalist in Fast Company’s “World Changing Ideas” in 2019.
