Found Village was originally Villedge: a wonderfully impactful organization, but one that was struggling to explain what they do and ultimately garner critical funding for the organization. What they do is they work with at-risk young people who have been left behind or let down by the foster care system, acting as a supplemental source of people and hope for thousands of young people in Cincinnati.

BLDG developed the new name Found Village: a nod to the insight that most of these children feel invisible until they discover the wonderful connections Found Village offers that many of us take for granted. Simply put: young people who interact with Found Village are “Found,” and the support system that exists through Found Village helps them reach their full potential by building foundational trust. We created the name, the strategy, and helped developed the web presence for this new, exciting direction. Since the update, Found Village has seen funding increase dramatically, and the organization has even been chosen for the highly selective national Stand Together Foundation’s Catalyst Program.
