The Cincinnati Region historically featured R&R: the River and the Reds. The joint tourism boards of Cincinnati Regional Tourism and MeetNKY came to BLDG to help them craft a new story and brand for this wonderfully vibrant, culturally rich region that matched the depth of experience this area had to offer on both sides of the Ohio River.
Through countless hours of research, interviews with locals, and much much more, we discovered Cincy was about a lot more than professional sports and waterways: it is a truly unique cultural tapestry made up of a bunch of passionate people. That’s the brand we created: one that was flexible enough to showcase a wide variety of assets, yet loud enough to make sure people got the point. Our new story is that Cincy is the Cultural Crown of the MidWest, and any who would want to challenge that claim are welcome to come explore and see for themselves how Culture Reigns in Cincy.
Though just getting started as a campaign, the region has already captured new accolades, with Condé Nast Traveler naming the Cincy Region one of the best places to travel in 2023.
