Lordstown Motors came to BLDG as a blank slate with no visual identity. What they did have was a compelling story: they were going to build the future of commercial electric vehicles inside a mega plant in a small Ohio community where millions of vehicles had been manufactured since the 1970s, starting with the pickup truck.

We leveraged that powerful story into an equally powerful brand. Forging brain with brawn, and building a community of optimism around this new “Voltage Valley,” Lordstown Motors is a brand and organization that aims to power the working spirit, and utilizes clean design to tell their story of technological advancement and community pride. In 2023, the Lordstown Endurance was a finalist for North American Truck of the Year, bested only by the Ford F-150 Lightning.
