Georgia Tech boasts an impressive athletics legacy dating back over a hundred years, but the Yellow Jackets are fully focused on the present. They challenged BLDG to develop a modern look and feel to emphasize the rising trajectory of their athletics and galvanize their students, fans, and city.

For the brand refresh, we dug into the vault and dusted off the most iconic assets from Georgia Tech’s storied past. From this, we created a modern reinterpretation of the college’s classic brand to mark the start of a new era and a new mentality for the program. This new mindset and the competitive advantages it brings are reflected in the “Tech Minded” tagline that ties the campaign together. In updating Georgia Tech’s legacy assets for the modern era, we enhanced their athletics identity to both honor the past and look ahead toward the next exciting chapter in their game-changing future.
