Sleek consumer-focused EVs seem to get all the spotlight, but how can we make a grittier, more B2B entity who is making electric vehicles and drones for delivery companies stand out and show they're not just on the hype train, but a completely different track? That's Workhorse. We re-worked their existing identity, and got them on the road to growth by helping them launch new softwares, service lines, and partnerships.
We grounded Workhorse in an identity that balanced between gritty and tough while still feeling smart. Since we were stuck with the existing logo, that meant a lot of focus on language and asset development. We positioned the company as a group of engineers making exceptional tools, highlighted by the initial positioning of "we push the boundaries of technologies that pull humanity forward."
We made sure the Workhorse brand could still live in more consumer facing environments, creating applications for sporting events (FC Cincinnati digital banners), as well as traditional trade show environments such as vehicle wraps, collateral, and much more.
